![]() I dont know what it is, and please dont mistake this for an out-of-nowhere criticism because i grew up on and love these stories and their world. Potential Spoiler: Slow recharge time feels like the literal least they could do to emphasize its gravity. Similarly with regards to the killing curse, frankly: I don't yet know what I would want different, but it feels OP. ![]() ![]() I want to not be able to forget that i suffered under Crucio. SPOILER In the first scene where we learn/use CRUCIO/have Seb perform it on us. I'm going to ignore the movies for now and we can argue about that later, so it's just this: the unforgivables in HPL should have more consequences. However, this one thing bothers me, and while, it's not the same, it echoes how I felt about the original movies in general, which is: it doesn't take things seriously enough. Most of the rest of the game is great.Alright so I just finished the main story after 30-35 hours of playing around and I genuinely had a good time. Hogwarts character progress just feels lackluster and kinda bleh Your character grows and you gotta earn it. You feel like your character grows and learns because each time you learn a word of power and slay a dragon you earn an upgrade to something you already have or gain something new. I wouldn't want it to be a grind to learn them, but something not just wrapped in a gift bag. The moment you learn a new spell outside of alohomora you are an instant master and can use it in any situation perfectly every time, there is no character growth. The game does not make it feel like your character is really learning and growing, every spell is just given to you because you did X thing with other spells that you were going to probably do anyway. The game sets a tone at the beginning, you are a student, you started late, learn fast because we don't care you started 4 years late, OWLs are coming
